The Art Of Organizing Your Business:
How To Create Systems That Get Crazy Profits

It’s no secret that having a well-organized business is the key to success.

Entrepreneurship is all about creating the systems that get crazy profits.  But what if you don’t know where to start, or even worse, what if your business is a mess and you’re not sure how to clean it up?

In today’s video, I’m going to walk you through the steps of creating systems that will help get your business organized and profitable so you can see results like never before.

1. The Buckets of Business method to set goals in your business

I want you to set goals for your business.  It drives the direction of where that business goes, and it energizes you to do even better work.

I don’t care what industry you’re in.  Every single industry has the opportunity to succeed greatly if they have great systems in place – especially when it comes down to internet marketing and sales.  But where do you even begin?

I’ve got a simple 4-step method that will show you exactly what you should (and shouldn’t) be doing in your business.

Run Like Clockwork breaks it down like this:

DO: everything you actually execute on

DECIDE: the tasks you assign out

DELEGATE: the outcomes you assign

DESIGN: the big picture vision of your company

2. How to know which system you should create first?

Once you’ve used my Buckets of Business to figure out the goals in your business, now you need to prioritize those systems.  It’s all well and good to say “I want more time, money, and freedom” but that isn’t going to happen without some hard work from you.

Work now, play later.

Based on the buckets that you created in your business, let’s get some stuff off your current D and start moving it into the next bucket.  Still unsure?  Think: what is going to improve customer satisfaction, improve team happiness or increase profits and revenues.

3. How to create your systems and SOPs

Now it’s time to get to the nitty-gritty, and start creating your systems.  I have a simple framework for creating your SOP’s and systems within your business.

YES!  I’m giving you the actual template you can use (scroll down to the GET THE VAULT button).  Systems have to create the best results, be easy to explain to others and be something that can be executed in a repeatable way.

1.  Decide who’s responsible

2.  What do they need to have access to?

3.  Why is it important to do this task?

4.  Explainer Video

5.  What are the actual steps?

6.  What is the plan to review and evaluate?

4. Stick with it!

You have to keep working on those systems before they will work effectively for you.  We started by creating goals for you, but as James Clear says, both winners and losers have goals.

Achieving a goal is a momentary win.  In order to make true progress, you need habits.  It’s not enough to set up a system and just expect it to work.

You have to train your team (and YOURSELF) how to use them.

5. How to train your team to use these new systems effectively

This is crucial if you want to turn your systems into habits.  Nobody wants to deal with a new system; we’re all at least a little bit lazy.

You have to make your team want to use these systems so that they become second nature.  Make it fun and part of the culture.  Just make it about THEM.  It makes their job easier.

The best way I’ve seen to train people:

1.  Show them how to do it

2.  Help them do it together

3.  Watch them do it (correctly)

6. Evaluating your systems and SOPs

Start by looking at the most challenging and time-consuming parts of your SOP then brainstorms ways to make it better. Is there something that can be automated?

Organizing your business and creating systems can be a (relatively) painless process if you follow the steps I’ve provided you today.  All you have to do is to make yourself aware of the problem and take action!

Don’t just read this blog and do nothing with it.  Do the work now so down the road, you can sit back, relax, grab a pina colada and enjoy the fact that you are living your life instead of wasting it behind your desk banging your head against the wall. … Again.

7.  Deeper Dive + Tips

I did an extra private training inside of Brand Soldiers on how to make this whole process go QUICKER and it’s especially useful if you’re a one-man-show.  Watch that training here.

Deeper Dive

Every week I go even DEEPER into each training topic for my Vault Members.  You can watch that extra training here where I show you how I like to organize all my files, the rules around creating the explainer videos that make up part of the SOP and some tips on how to make creating these business systems even faster.
